An angioplasty with a stent placed in the blocked artery, could have improved her health and potentially saved her life. That and extensive rehab.
Houston was a walking time bomb, but may not have known it, as it is hard to fathom that sober she would have continued with her arteries in that state. Houston may have been experiencing symptoms of atherosclerosis she dismissed as work related stress, such as chest pains. It is important to know the warning signs. Sadly she did not.
